  • EXTERNAL LINKS ON WEBSITE: Lawkonect is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any other websites to which the Site links or to which link to the Site. By clicking on a link, logo or other item, or using certain services available on the Site, you may no longer be on the Lawkonect Site. Read the posted privacy statement of that website whenever interacting with any website. Lawkonect does not endorse any such external sites or resources.
  • THE WORKROOM: This area of the Site is for the benefit of Users. The private and shared Workroom areas of the Site facilitate communication and the exchange and sharing of information between Payor and Professional once a bid has been accepted. The information contained in private Workrooms shared between Payors and Professionals is not used for any purposes other than to facilitate communication and the exchange of information between the parties involved. Lawkonect reserves the right to monitor communications in the Workroom in order to verify compliance with our Terms of Service, international, national or state laws and/or our other stated policies.
  • REGISTRATION: Personal information means information about you that is personally identifiable including, but not limited to, your name, address, email address, telephone number or other contact information. We may request additional Personal Information in the future. We use Personal Information for the following purposes: to identify and authenticate your access Lawkonect’s services that you are authorized to access, to provide you with the services provided under the Site, to improve our services to you and to contact you.
  • OTHER SOURCES: We also may obtain and collect information about you when you log into our Site through third party social networking websites. Users may log into our Site using their log in credentials from various third party social network websites which may change from time to time, including, without limitation, Facebook, Google and Twitter. We are not responsible for their privacy policy. We store the information that we receive from these websites along with other information that we collect from you or receive about you.
  • PAYMENT: We may use and share the User information with reliable and reputed third-party payment gateway to whom we are associated in order to ensure swift and comfortable payment mechanism for the User. The third-party payment gateway and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information and your credit/debit card details will be handled by these providers. Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

  • The data that you submit or write at Lawkonect may be seen by the service providers such as Lawyers, CA or operations and maintenance team repairing and maintaining our technical systems. Lawkonect does not have Non-Disclosure Agreements with these concerned parties who may be able to access your information.
  • We will be sending emails at the email ids provided by you and we will be making calls on the phone numbers provided by you if required. In case you have given a wrong email id or wrong phone number for correspondence, in that case Lawkonect will not be responsible for the information loss or privacy loss due to the message going to an another destination.
  • YOUR USE OF OTHER MEMBERS INFORMATION: As a user of the Service you might have access to other users' personal information. You agree to use this information solely for sharing and communicating on the site. The Company and its users shall not tolerate spam of any kind. Accounts suspected of causing spam will be deleted immediately and such users shall not be allowed to register again. Please feel free to report any users you suspect of using the Service as a platform for spamming by contacting customer support. You understand that all information (such as data files, written text, computer software, or images) is the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated.
  • ACCESSING, REVIEWING AND CHANGING YOUR PROFILE: Following registration, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration. If you change any information we may keep track of your old information. You can change your registration information such as: name, address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, and profile. We will retain in our files information you have requested to remove for certain circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions.

Different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to the parties on our Website or on other sites throughout the Internet.   • PUBLIC INFORMATION: Information in your Profile is available for any other registered User to access. We will not have any obligation under this Privacy Policy with respect to information in your Profile or information you voluntarily provide to other Users via the Site.

Any emails sent by us will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products. Lawkonect avails the services of a number of lawyers/advocates/CAs/CSs/tax consultants etc. However, because Lawkonect.com cannot control the conduct of others and cannot be held liable for their actions. Do not make any confessions or admissions.Lawkonect.com is not responsible for the release or improper use of such information by any such person whose services We avail or any release due to error or failure in the System.
  • OUR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION: As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. However, the following describes some of the ways that your personally identifiable information may be disclosed.

  • OTHER INFORMATION: You may provide Lawkonect information when you interact with us through email, online chat, or otherwise. We may retain such information in order to provide you with Site Services, including for diagnosing technical issues.
  • DATA RETENTION: We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
  • TERMINATING YOUR MEMBERSHIP: We save your Personal Information until your membership with us is terminated and you unsubscribe to email notifications. If you terminate your membership, your Personal Information cannot be recovered. After termination of your membership, your Personal Information may remain on our archived database and records. We will maintain information on Users who have been removed for violating our Membership Agreement.
